Apollo II high-performance neural recording system multi-channel recording of neuronal cluster firing was performed in vivo ( in vivo) extracellular recording method is used to monitor the synchronous electrical activity of neuron groups. this technology can be used to simultaneously record the electrical activity of a large number of neurons in multiple brain regions, and study the temporal and spatial connections between neuronal discharges in different brain regions. then, the brain's encoding mechanism for external events is studied by analyzing the pattern of neuron firing.
